Was having fit problems with the generic thumb picks I was getting from the local music shops around my area. They had a number of different brands to choose from, but they were either too tight or too loose and I just couldn't get them adjusted properly which can leave a budding banjo player disenchanted, especially if your fingers hurt after playing for just a short while. So I went online and discovered a 'propik' thumb pick in medium size at Banjo Studio. I was intrigued by the design and wondered why the local shops didn't stock them. The price was very reasonable, so I decided to purchase one and give it a try. To my surprise it showed up at my door just 2 days later. I slipped it on and gave it a test run and after just a few notes I knew I had finally found the thumb pick for me. My banjo thrilled me with crisp, sharp tones I'd never heard from it before. After a few more minor adjustments for fit and comfort I couldn't resist spending the next hour enjoying my new propik. Thank you Banjo Studio for having a quality product at a very reasonable price and getting it to me so quickly. Job well done.
Sounds great but gets loose. Tone is everything but if the pick seems to moves around you lose consistency. I might try plasty dip and see what it does. Maybe I'll dip my thumb.
I am very happy with the quality of this pick. It hasn't improved the quality of my playing yet, but in time I will be as good as this fine pick.
awesome thumbpick ! Fits snug yet comfortably .
This is the best thumb pick that I have used. Very comfortable to ware.
