Starr Limited Edition Bluegrass 12" 5-String Resonator Banjo

This is on gorgeous banjo and I love the maple figure on this banjo.  Starr Banjos represents exceptional value in handcrafted North American instrumentation. Constructed by luthier Chuck Ogsbury in Gold Hill, Colorado, this 12" Bluegrass 5-string resonator features premium specifications typically reserved for higher-priced models— highly figured stained curly maple neck and maple rim combined with abalone inlays. The hand-carved neck is individually shaped by Ogsbury for each instrument, ensuring consistent quality and playability.  Materials on the fretboard is mother of pearl.  This neck is an old Gibson Mastertone neck that Chuck has had since the 90's and features gold flecks along the side of the fretboard. The rim has a rolled brass tone ring and the weight of this banjo is 8.9 lbs. This banjo delivers the tonal characteristics and aesthetic refinement expected from a professionally made instrument, offering serious players access to superior craftsmanship at an accessible price point.
