This is a personal banjo of Banjo Studio's owner David Bandrowski. It is in excellant condition and was made in August of 2012. There is almost no fret wear and no scratches or dings to note. Just some tarnish on the hardware - but nothing that can't be buffed out.
The tubaphone tone ring is one of the most sought after tone rings in banjo history for its clarity and warmth. Deering Banjo Company has been making Vega banjos for over 20 years and have taken a treasured banjo brand to new highs.
This Vega #2 has been customized with a scooped fingerboard and renaissance head. All of the customizations really give it an authentic look, feel, and playability for old time banjo playing. If you play clawhammer/frailing style, you won't be dissapointed with this banjo.
