Banjo Studio is a big fan of Rickard Banjo.  We love the details that go into making these fine instruments and it is a pleasure to offer you this wondering Rickard Dobson.  The action is super low and an ease to play with it's short scale length.  As a result the tone is warm and provides that plunky sound you crave.  The neck is a hand polished varnish that feels so smooth to touch.  If you look at the "S" scoop, you'll notice the partial frets inlayed into the ebony fretboard, such a nice touch to this instrument that showcases all the attention to details.  As you expect, its a wonderful instrument to hear.

The Rickard Dobson banjo features a maple neck, 1/2 inch thick maple rim with rim cap and faux tortoise binding,  Antiqued Brass Hardware including Dobson Tone Ring and their patented 10:1 Ratio Cyclone Tuners, 25.5" scale ebony fretboard, dots with star inlay, frailing scoop, EVO Gold Fretwire, choice of Remo Renaissance or Fiberskyn head.
