This is one hell of a banjo. The Deering Eagle II 19-Fret tenor banjo features the Deering Twenty-Ten tone ring has a lot of qualities in its tone that a Tubaphone tone ring does, but it seems to take it to a new level. This is the best tenor banjo that I have ever played, and I own and play Bacon & Day Silver Bells, vintage Vega tubaphones, Paramonts and others. I just love how this banjo has plenty of brightness, while maintaining tons of warmth.
