Keep your banjo sounding great by putting fresh strings on it. Fresh strings are the easiest thing to keep your banjo playing and sounding as if it were new. You should be changing your strings at the least, every month. If you play quite a bit, then it should be about every 2 weeks or more.

Greg Deering knows what makes a banjo sound great. He chose the gauges for our private label string sets to meet the demands required of any playing style. These banjo strings will work great for 5-string long neck banjos as well.

Deering light gauge strings are what come on all Deering 5 string banjos except the Tenbrooks series of banjos.

We are presently returning to Canada by car from Florida. At some point when we are out of quarantine I will try the strings out. But our first priority is to stay safe from the virus. Wait for the ‘breaking news’.

    The Perfect String for Me

I’ve tried quite a few brands of banjo strings but always return to Deering. They have a sound that just sounds right to my ear and a feel that fits me better than most. If you haven’t used them, try a couple of sets, I’m sure you’ll like them.

    Reliable merchant, excellent quality

Very satisfied with this purchase of banjo strings, would not hesitate to use BanjO Studio in the future.

    A Very Nice String

I've tried quite a few brands of banjo strings and they're all pretty good but the "Deering" brand (made by Dunlop?) keeps the original sound from my Sierra that I like. Banjo Studio has a very nice price on them so this is where I get them!
