Custom Deering Artisan Goodtime Americana Banjo with Bronze Hardware and Fiberskin Head

On a recent trip to Deering Banjos, we were in the showroom looking at all the Goodtime Banjos.  We loved the look of the bronze hardware on their baseline Goodtime.  Right next to it was an Artisan Goodtime Americana with the Nickel hardware.  We inquired on the option of swapping out the hardware to give it more a vintage look.  Something that we seen players gravitate towards.  Our rep, David Vega, suggested we also add in the Fiberskin head and that tied it all together.  We are honored to be able to offer this to our customers moving forward.  If you are looking for a warmer, deeper tone on a nice banjo, this is your option.  If you are looking for a brighter tone, we also offer the standard model with the frosted top head.  Either way, we have what you are looking for.  If not, please contact us and we can point you into the right direction. 

The Goodtime Artisan Americana features a 12” rim, creating a stronger bass response and warmer tone compared to its counterpart, the original Goodtime and its 11" rim. The Artisan version of the Goodtime Americana boasts a rich brown stain, planetary banjo tuners, 5th string capo spikes at frets 7, 9, and 10, and a Midnight Maple fingerboard.

We have more Custom versions of the Artisan series including 17-fret, 19-fret, Openback with a scoop, and the Goodtime two. We are sure to add more as the popularity grows.
