Banjo Studio is proud to be a Preferred Online Deering Dealer.

You are viewing the actual banjo that you will be purchasing.

This used Deering Eagle II 5-string banjo is an exceptional find for its next owner. It has been lightly played and meticulously cared for, showing no scratches or dings anywhere on the instrument. The nickel hardware shows only the light, expected tarnishing typical of an authentic player's instrument, which has been lightly cleaned.  We did not take the whole banjo apart to clean all the nickel hardware.

To ensure it plays great right out of the box, our shop has performed a professional bench setup:

  • Detail: Cleaned and polished the entire instrument.

  • Head Tensioned: Tightened the head to optimal performance specs.

  • Tailpiece Adjusted: Set the tailpiece precisely back to factory specifications.

  • Neck Alignment: Straightened the neck and adjusted the neck angle for factory set action.

  • Fretboard Conditioned: Cleaned and oiled the fretboard to protect the wood and improve playability.

This banjo is fully dialed in, sounding incredible, and ready for its next home!
