Ode Cherry Magician 5-String Openback Banjo 11"

The Ode banjos are made by Zen Ogsbury, the son of the original Ome Banjo Company founder/owner Chuck Ogsbury, Jacob McClure and Ellie McClure. The shop is situated in Gold Hill, CO and are fantastic old time banjos. These banjos have an elegant, minimalistic aesthetic which fits perfectly in line with what an old time banjo should look like. 

What Makes the Ode Magician Great

• Build Quality: We love to see the consistency of this build.  The neck feels smooth in the hand and plays fast.  It has low action and is easy to play.  The attention to each part of the banjo and how they fit together cannot be over looked.  If you are looking for a banjo that is made with care, attention to details and respect to the craft, you are at the right spot.  
• Genuine Materials:  This banjo is made with American Walnut for the neck, and an ebony fretboard.  The rim is made with multi-ply curly maple rim.  The raw materials are brought to the facilities and made into banjo parts. these are done in-house to maintain the consistency that is what Ode Banjos is known for.
• Aged Hardware: Similar to the raw wood materials, the hardware is aged in-house and provides a variety of looks to their hardware.
