On a recent trip to Deering Banjos, we were in the showroom looking at all the Goodtime Banjos.  We loved the look of the bronze hardware on their baseline Goodtime.  Right next to it was an Artisan Goodtime Americana with the Nickel hardware.  We inquired on the option of swapping out the hardware to give it more a vintage look.  Something that we seen players gravitate towards.  We are honored to be able to offer this vintage inspired Goodtime to our customers moving forward.  If you are looking for a livelier Bluegrass instrument, this Goodtime Artisan Special will get you the tone want for an affordable price.  
The Deering Artisan Goodtime Special banjo is a great all around 5 string banjo without too much cost or weight. The Artisan Goodtime banjos feature the Deering's new Midnight Maple™ fingerboard which is a maple fingerboard that has been pressure stained so that the stain penetrates all of the way through the wood. This will never wear off.

The Artisan Goodtime Special banjo also features the Goodtime Special tone ring which gives the banjo plenty of brightness and a richer tone.
