The Artisan version of the Goodtime Americana boasts a rich brown stain, planetary banjo tuners, 5th string capo spikes at frets 7, 9, and 10, and a Midnight Maple fingerboard.  We added a \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"\u003escoop\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003e on the fretboard for more of the plunky sound to our clawhammer\/old time players. This version is a nylon string and so we asked Deering to add a 5th string nut and you don't see that very often on Goodtime banjos.  So enjoy!  Finally, we opted for a Skintone head that tonally sits between a Renaissance and a Fiberskin Head.  This provides great tone that is warm and adds the plunky sound of a Nylon-style openback banjo. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe have more Custom versions of the Artisan series including 17-fret, 19-fret, Openback without a scoop, and the Goodtime two.
